On January 4, 2023, the FIPP UNY Master of Education Policy Study Program Team visited and had an audience with the Sleman Regency Government. The Head of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of Education, Dr. Ariefa Efianingrum, and the Coordinator of the Master of Education Policy Study Program, Prof. Dr. Mami Hajaroh, M.Pd., were received by the Deputy Regent of Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, Danang Maharsa, S.E., along with all SKPD Leaders in the meeting room of the Deputy Regent of Sleman Regency.

Furthermore, representatives from the FIPP UNY Educational Policy Masters Study Program conveyed the purpose of the team's visit to conduct socialization about the Educational Policy Masters Study Program delivered by Prof. Dr. Mami Hajaroh, M.Pd. The Deputy Regent of Sleman Regency appreciated and welcomed it and conveyed that the existence of this Educational Policy Masters Study Program has a beneficial effect for ASN to increase employee capacity. Furthermore, the real conditions of ASN in the Sleman Regency Government were also conveyed by the SKPD leaders.

In addition, the Deputy Regent of Sleman Regency was accompanied by Mr. Jazim Staff, Expert in Government and Law who strengthened the requirements for study permits for ASN, namely including accreditation, formation, ASN self-development (related to study permits) because it will impact diploma adjustments. In this audience, the BKPP of Sleman Regency also conveyed an overview of human resources and data in Sleman. In the Sleman Regency Government, there is a Regent Regulation 71 of 2022 which regulates study assignments/study permits, and for civil servants who wish to pursue higher education, there are 2 options, namely independent study assignments/study permits. In this case, civil servants bear all costs charged/independent costs and cannot leave work hours. Therefore, cooperative classes are possible if lectures can be held in the afternoon/evening, or on weekends because on Saturdays Sleman ASN enter until 12 noon.

Concluding the audience, the Master of Education Policy Study Program and the Sleman Regency Government agreed to hold an online outreach for teachers, school principals, and ASN within the ranks of the Sleman Regency Government which will be implemented soon.
