The Bachelor of Education Policy (S1) and Masters (S2) Study Programs are a single educational activity unit based on the Nomenclature of the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 257/m/kpt/2017 concerning the name of the study program in Attachment I No. 48 which states the name of the Education Policy Study Program.

After the Educational Policy Study Program (S1) is accredited A and then Superior, the Masters Program in Educational Policy (S2) needs to be established and developed at UNY.

Background

In response to the various serious challenges facing Indonesia in the field of education, quality human resources need to be prepared and developed to address these issues.

The urgent need to focus on education policy studies is to contribute to theoretical and empirical development. The Master of Education Policy (S2) program will be essential to understand, interpret, and elaborate on national education policy products in meso- and micro-contexts, and to test them reflectively in practice.
